Yorkshire Status: Very rare migrant.

Our first and only record of this scarce migrant species was from Walkley (Sheffield) on 14/8/2024. Since the first UK record in 1967, there have only been a handful of records, mostly along the south coast, though there was a small invasion in 2006. Suffolk had its first record three weeks after ours.
